The thematic area "Immigration, Residence, Integration and Citizenship" summarises services concerning entry into Germany, as well as the residence of foreign persons and services concerning German citizenship. The services are spread over many situations in life, the legal bases of which are primarily the law on foreigners and the law on nationality. The user groups are very different. The services cover the entire range of tasks, starting with the application for a visa, further residence, naturalisation, departure and possible renunciation of German citizenship.
